Treatments

Korean medicine, explained plainly

Korean medicine looks at the whole person, not only one symptom. Here is what you can expect at each step.

Your visit starts with a long conversation and a careful look at the whole body.

Case history

For Anyone with a long-lasting symptom, or whose tests do not show a clear cause.

The doctor listens to the full story of your symptoms, sleep, diet, daily life and stress. He treats each person's story as part of the diagnosis.

Tongue and pulse diagnosis

For Anyone curious how Korean medicine reads the body.

The colour and coating of the tongue, and the pulse at the wrist, are read as signs of circulation and of the body's balance.

Posture and structure check

For Uneven shoulders or hips, and back or neck discomfort.

The doctor checks posture and the alignment of the spine by hand, because the spine can be linked to discomfort elsewhere in the body.

Function tests

For Those who also want measured data.

Heart rate variability and pulse wave tests give an extra view of how the body is working. The doctor then combines all findings into one picture.

How we work

A long first conversation, then a plan

01

Six steps of assessment

Case history, tongue, pulse, structure, function tests and a final review. The doctor puts the findings together before he suggests any treatment.

02

Herbal formulas made in the clinic

A dedicated room holds the clinic's earthenware jars, where the herbal formulas are fermented for about three days.

03

A quiet treatment room

Acupuncture and manual therapy are given in a private room, planned after your assessment.
